Job summary

JBA SOLUTIONS SDN BHD is seeking an IT support professional to provide first-line support for hardware, software, network, and applications in Kuching, Malaysia. You will assist in maintaining Windows Server environments, ensuring reliability, performance, and adequate storage capacity.

Knowledge of ERP or business applications is a plus. The role requires 1–2 years of hands-on IT support or fresh graduates with IT passion, strong problem-solving, and willingness to travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on IT support or infrastructure experience preferred.
• Fresh graduates with a passion for IT and the drive to grow are also encouraged to apply!
• Good knowledge of Windows Server and client environments; knowledge in SQL programming
• Knowledge in ERP/accounting or other business applications will be an added advantage
• Confidence troubleshooting PCs, servers, printers, and network devices
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• A proactive attitude, a hunger to learn, and comfort working solo or in a team
• Willingness to travel to client locations when needed

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support for hardware, software, network, and application issues
• Assist in maintaining and monitoring Windows Server environments
• Help keep systems reliable, fast, and running with enough storage capacity
• Support IT security, including endpoint protection and access controls
• Support business applications and help users get the most from their systems
• Work with vendors and IT providers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Take part in system implementations, upgrades, testing, and deployments
• Maintain user and technical documentation, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
