Job summary

Private Advertiser in Sungai Buloh, Selangor, Malaysia, is an established mould and plastic manufacturing company seeking an Injection Moulding Process Engineer. You will maintain process parameters, perform mould changes, set up machines, and drive process improvements to boost efficiency and product quality.

The role requires a Diploma or higher in Engineering, at least 2 years in injection moulding, and strong problem-solving skills. Mandarin speakers are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Moulding, Manufacturing, or related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in injection moulding.
• Good knowledge of injection moulding machines, moulds, and process parameter adjustment and optimization.
• Experienced in mould changing, trial runs, machine setup, and handling production abnormalities.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve production, process, and quality issues.
• Good communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain injection moulding process parameters and propose process and quality improvement solutions.
• Perform mould changing and machine setup, troubleshoot basic machine and mould issues, and ensure stable production efficiency and product quality.
• Assist in monitoring production progress and product quality.
• Conduct skills training for operators, supervise daily machine maintenance, and ensure operators follow safety procedures.
• Establish and maintain standard injection moulding process parameters, prepare work instructions, and standardize production processes.
• Independently lead the analysis of major quality issues and identify the root causes.
• Conduct trial runs and process setup for new products and new moulds.
• Continuously optimize injection moulding processes to improve production efficiency and product yield.
• Work closely with Production and Quality teams to resolve technical and quality issues during production.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Responsibilities

Maintain injection moulding process parameters and propose process and quality improvement solutions.

Requirements

Diploma or above in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Moulding, Manufacturing, or a related field.

At least 2 years of relevant experience in injection moulding.

Experienced in mould changing, trial runs, machine setup, and handling production abnormalities.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to independently identify and resolve production, process, and quality issues.

Good communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.

Experience in operating and managing injection moulding equipment is an added advantage.

Candidates who are able to communicate in Chinese (Mandarin) are preferred.

Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to execute tasks effectively.

Able to work in a factory environment and comply with the company's work arrangements.
