Job summary

Guppy Plastic Industries (Penang) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a QA shift leader to oversee IPQC, OQC and Lab daily tasks. You will ensure accurate hourly reporting, accept samples per FAI/ LIMIT, and maintain good condition of stored samples. Collaboration with team members for rework and issue follow-up is essential.

The role emphasizes supervising QA staff, performing inspections as required, and ensuring timely reporting of any abnormal or rejected parts during buyoff in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Requires SPM / SKM Level 1-3 or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–2 years working experience in manufacturing/industrial scope in QA department.
• Skills in Quality Inspection and Molding Defect Criteria are required.

Responsibilities

• To ensure hourly reporting is sent out according to defined rules.
• To ensure all Accept Sample at work station follow FAI and LIMIT Sample.
• To ensure all samples in locker are in good condition.
• To carry out daily buyoff parts.
• Shift leader to lead IPQC, OQC and Lab for daily task monitoring and arrangement.
• Guide, supervise, and train team members when required
• Arrange team members to rework/sort OQC rejected parts
• Follow up rejection issues by inspectors
• Report and update any abnormal/rejection found during buyoff

Job description

1. Candidate must possess at least SPM / SKM Level 1 / SKM Level 2 / SKM Level 3 or equivalent

2. Minimum 1-2 year working experience in manufacturing/ industrial scope in QA department

1. To make sure hourly reporting to be send out follow by rules been set

2. To make sure all Accept Sample at work station follow FAI and LIMIT Sample

3. To make sure all sample in locker in good condition

4. To carry out daily buyoff part

Function:

1. Shift leader to lead IPQC, OQC and Lab for daily task monitoring and arrangement

2. Special inspection if required

3. Guide, supervise, train to another team member, when required

4. Arranged team member to rework/ sorting OQC reject part

5. Follow up the rejection issue by inspector

6. To report and update any the abnormal/ rejection found during buyoff
