Job summary

HIKVISION Malaysia in Penang seeks a skilled technical consultant in machine vision to assist sales by evaluating project feasibility, testing functions and proposing solutions. You will respond to customers’ technical inquiries during testing, address hardware and software issues, and feed back requirements to R&D for customization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in automation, electromechanical, photoelectric or related field.
• At least three years in machine vision or industrial automation.
• Foundational optical/electrical knowledge; familiarity with at least one programming language.
• Strong communication, organizational and teamwork skills.
• Good presentation; English and Mandarin preferred for effective communication.
• Willing to travel overseas; overseas work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sales to evaluate project feasibility and test product function.
• Respond to technical consultations during tests and resolve machine vision hardware/software issues.
• Provide feedback to R&D and follow up customization projects.
• Handle after-sales RMA issues and conduct quality retrospectives.
• Produce technical guidance, FAQs and operation videos for foreign colleagues and customers.
• Support overseas exhibitions, including coordinating materials, debugging and other assistance.

Job description

1. Assist Sales to evaluate project feasibility, test product function, assess solutions and communicate demand;

2. Respond to the customer's technical consultation during the test, and deal with the problems of machine vision hardware and software;

3. Feed back product and technical requirements to R&D, and follow up customization projects;

4. Deal with customers' after-sales RMA problems, and conduct quality retrospective communication;

5. Enable foreign colleagues and customers, and output technical guidance, FAQ and operation videos;

6. Responsible for the technical work of overseas exhibitions, including coordinating materials, debugging and providing other support;

Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree or above, major in automation, electromechanical, photoelectric or related science and engineering;

2. At least three years of relevant working experience in machine vision, industrial automation, image processing industry technology consulting.

3. Have a certain optical and electrical foundation, and be familiar with at least one programming language.

4. Have good logical thinking, organizational coordination and communication skills, and good team spirit.

5. Good communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin for effective internal communication.

6.Willing to accept overseas business trip. Previous overseas working experience is preferred.
