What you'll be doing?
- Support Technical Solutions:Work closely with the Technical Manager to develop and review project technical solutions, ensuring they meet project requirements and standards.
- Review and Improve Drawings:Examine construction drawings, identify discrepancies, and suggest practical improvements to enhance project outcomes.
- Technical Compliance:Ensure that all drawings and technical submissions adhere to project specifications and applicable codes and standards.
- Site Support:Provide on-site technical assistance, helping to resolve construction-related technical issues and ensuring smooth project progress.
- Coordinate Technical Information:Act as a liaison among consultants, contractors, clients, and internal departments to facilitate the exchange of technical information.
- Manage Project Records:Prepare, maintain, and update project records, design-change documents, technical reports, and site documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in Tendering:Support the preparation and evaluation of technical proposals during the tendering stage, contributing to the project's successful procurement.
- Escalate Technical Matters:Identify and elevate complex or high-risk technical issues to the Technical Manager for resolution.
Who are they looking for?
- Engineering Degree:A degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, or a related field, to ensure a solid foundation in engineering principles and practices.
- Relevant Experience:At least 3 years of experience in technical coordination, drawing review, or construction engineering, to bring practical knowledge and skills to the role.
- Technical Understanding:A sound understanding of construction drawings, technical reporting, and QA/QC processes, to effectively contribute to project quality and compliance.
- Independent Work:The ability to work independently while reporting to and supporting the Technical Manager, to balance autonomy with team collaboration.
- Skills and Abilities:Good coordination, documentation, problem-solving, and communication skills, to ensure effective project execution and stakeholder engagement.
