Job summary

REKABRICK (M) SDN. BHD. in Shah Alam is seeking a Head of Technical to lead the design, build and technical governance across projects, from feasibility through delivery.

You will oversee the technical team, review designs for constructability, resolve site issues and ensure compliance with standards. The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 7+ years in construction/Design & Build, and strong leadership with cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years in construction, residential projects or Design & Build.
• Strong civil, structural, architectural and construction knowledge.
• Ability to review drawings and identify constructability gaps and risks.
• Proven experience resolving technical and construction issues on projects.
• Understanding of materials, specs and construction methods.
• Strong leadership, judgement and decision-making.
• Effective cross-functional communication and coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the technical function and team.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review designs, drawings, specs and documentation.
• Assess constructability and identify risks prior to construction.
• Provide site condition assessments and feasibility input when required.
• Resolve complex technical and construction issues during execution.
• Review requirements impacting scope, cost or methods.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure technical alignment.
• Establish and maintain technical standards and quality controls.
• Ensure projects reach required technical readiness for construction.
