  • Professional Engineer licensure with PEPC (mandatory).
  • Minimum 20 years’ experience in structural engineering.
  • Strong BIM knowledge, REVIT, CAD and related tools.
  • Proficient in structural analysis and design software.
  • In-depth knowledge of Malaysia and international design codes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

The ideal candidate will champion innovation and value engineering in structural solutions, manage multidisciplinary teams on major infrastructure projects like rail/metro systems and data centres, and drive technical excellence across project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as technical lead for structural engineering, from concept development to detailed design and site implementation.
  • Drive innovation and value engineering in structural designs, materials, and construction methods.
  • Oversee design and project management, coordinating multidisciplinary teams on large-scale projects, including infrastructure, rail/metro, and data centres.
  • Review and verify structural designs, calculations, and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Build, develop, and mentor the structural technical team to enhance capabilities.
  • Manage design and construction programming, including resource allocation and scheduling.
  • Handle bid management and tender processes for structural scopes.
  • Deliver technical deliverables to project requirements.
  • Lead liaison with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout design and construction phases.
  • Coach, mentor, and upskill the technical team for sustained performance.

Job Requirements:

  • Recognised degree in Structural/Civil Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Registered Professional Engineer with PEPC qualification (mandatory).
  • Minimum 20 years’ experience in structural engineering.
  • Good working knowledge and experience in the BIM environment, with strong knowledge of REVIT, CAD, and related tools.
  • Good command of structural engineering analysis and design software.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysia and International design codes and standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding spoken and written proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
