Job summary

Tan Chong Group is seeking a hands-on production operator to test, assemble, and calibrate components in a safe, structured manufacturing environment. You will follow SOPs, monitor processes, and ensure outputs meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment, building subassemblies, maintaining quality, and keeping a clean workspace while supporting productivity. Career growth within the Tan Chong Group is encouraged.

Job description

Test products and subassemblies for functionality and quality.

Troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices and products.

Build product subassemblies and final assemblies.

Monitor and adjust production processes and equipment to support quality and productivity.

Prepare and assemble materials.

Set up and operate production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.

Calibrate and adjust equipment using tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, protractors and ring gauges.

Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications.

Maintain a clean and tidy workplace.
