Tan Chong Group, a diversified conglomerate with automotive, property, and financial services interests in Southeast Asia, seeks an experienced finance leader in Kuala Lumpur. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, and delivering timely financial reports.

You will drive cash flow optimization, cost control, and governance while partnering with senior management on strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate holds a finance/accounting degree (ACCA/CPA/CIMA a plus) with 5–8 years’ leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required.
• ACCA/CPA/CIMA certification is an added advantage.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience with leadership exposure.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans

Perform financial analysis and provide insights to support business strategies

Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement

Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements

Present financial results to senior management

Cash Flow & Cost Management

Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk

Monitor expenses and implement cost control measures

Optimize financial resources to improve profitability

Compliance & Audit

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and company policies

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities

Oversee internal controls and financial governance

Lead and develop the finance team to achieve departmental goals

Provide guidance and support on financial matters across departments

Business Partnering

Collaborate with other departments to support business operations and decision-making

Provide financial advice for investments, projects, and business initiatives

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is an added advantage

Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience, with leadership exposure

Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills

Proficient in financial systems and Microsoft Excel
