Job summary

SNS Network (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Technical and Cabling Technician to install, terminate, test and maintain structured cabling and network infrastructure at customer sites across Penang and Kedah. The role requires hands-on wiring and networking work, attention to safety, and meeting project requirements.

The ideal candidate will hold a professional certificate (PW2/3/4 or Diploma/ Degree in IT related fields) with relevant wiring experience, possess CCTV/IP networking knowledge, and

Qualifications

• Professional Certificate in PW2/PW3/PW4 or Diploma/ Degree in IT, CE, EE, Telecommunications or equivalent.
• Relevant wiring and networking experience is required for this position.
• Basic knowledge of CCTV, surveillance systems, IP networking, switches, SD-WAN, access control and security systems.
• Organized, with strong communication and excellent time management skills.
• Positive attitude and self-motivated; driving license required.
• Willing to travel outstation and nationwide within Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, troubleshoot and maintain structured cabling and related network infrastructure at customer sites.
• Assemble, install and repair electrical wiring and networking cabling.
• Assist in carrying projects as assigned by management.
• Ensure all works are completed safely, on schedule, and to client requirements.
• Work extra hours as needed and perform other duties as assigned.

Technical and Cabling Technician (Penang & Kedah)

To perform installation, termination, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of structured cabling and related network infrastructure at customer sites, ensuring all cabling works are completed safely, accurately and according to project requirements.

To perform assembling, installing and repairing electrical wiring and networking cabling.

To assist in carrying projects as assigned by the management/superior

Ensure the project works are completed safely, on schedule and in accordance with client requirements.

Able to work extra hours, independently and take full responsibility for assigned tasks.

Perform other duties as and when assigned by the Superior / Management.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate in PW2/PW3/ PW4/ Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent.

Relevant wiring and networking experience in the related field is required for this position.

Basic knowledge of CCTV, surveillance systems, IP networking, switches, SD-WAN, access control, and security systems.

Organized, strong communication and excellent time management skills

Positive attitude and self-motivated

Possess a valid driving license

Possess own transport and be willing to travel outstation and nationwide within Malaysia.
