Job summary

SNS Network (M) Sdn Bhd seeks an installation and network technician to perform wiring, testing and maintenance of structured cabling at customer sites across Malaysia. You will install, terminate, test and troubleshoot network infrastructure to meet project requirements.

The role requires a Professional Certificate or Diploma with hands-on experience in CCTV, IP networking, and security systems, plus willingness to travel nationwide. A valid driving license and own transport are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant wiring and networking experience in related field.
• Basic knowledge of CCTV, surveillance systems, IP networking, switches, SD-WAN, access control, and security systems.
• Possess a valid driving license and own transport; willing to travel outstation and nationwide within Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, troubleshoot and maintain structured cabling and related network infrastructure at customer sites, ensuring safety and adherence to project requirements.
• Assemble, install and repair electrical wiring and networking cabling.
• Assist in carrying projects as assigned by management/superior; ensure work is completed on schedule and to client specifications.
• Be available for extra hours, work independently and take full responsibility for assigned tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Superior/Management.

To perform installation, termination, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of structured cabling and related network infrastructure at customer sites, ensuring all cabling works are completed safely, accurately and according to project requirements.

To perform assembling, installing and repairing electrical wiring and networking cabling.

To assist in carrying projects as assigned by the management/superior

Ensure the project works are completed safely, on schedule and in accordance with client requirements.

Able to work extra hours, independently and take full responsibility for assigned tasks.

Perform other duties as and when assigned by the Superior / Management.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate in PW2/PW3/ PW4/ Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent.

Relevant wiring and networking experience in the related field is required for this position.

Basic knowledge of CCTV, surveillance systems, IP networking, switches, SD-WAN, access control, and security systems.
