DHL Express Malaysia is seeking a motivated Certified International Specialist to lead our courier team in Ipoh, Perak. You will oversee pickups and deliveries, ensuring time-sensitive shipments meet strict DHL timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Preferably 3-5 years of relevant experience in courier operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of couriers to ensure all shipments are picked up and delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
• Pick up, handle, and deliver time-sensitive documents and packages safely and punctually, considering traffic patterns and routes.
• Ensure all delivery materials received are safely delivered to the correct consignee.
• Report any suspected security breaches or unusual incidents to the supervisor immediately.
• Assist the supervisor in orienting, training, assigning, and checking the work of lower-level couriers.
• Develop KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance.

YOUR TASKS

Lead a team of couriers to ensure all shipments are picked up and delivered in a timely and efficient manner.

Pick up, handle, and deliver time-sensitive documents and packages safely and punctually, considering traffic patterns, alternative routes, traffic regulations, and driving conditions to meet customer and DHL time requirements.

Ensure all delivery materials received are safely delivered to the correct consignee.

Report any suspected security breaches or unusual incidents to the supervisor immediately.

Assist the supervisor in orienting, training, assigning, and checking the work of lower-level couriers.

Assist the supervisor in conducting Gemba rides to review performance and ensure the proper use of routes and work practices.

Develop a culture of quality, service excellence, flexibility, and cost consciousness within the team.

Identify training needs and career development opportunities to build a high-performing team.

Develop KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance.
