Job summary

RHB Asset Management seeks a Team Lead, FO Support, Recon & KYC to supervise front office support, client reporting, and onboarding for private mandates and family office clients.

You will drive KYC and due diligence, oversee reconciliations, and ensure regulatory compliance while developing a high-performing team in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Experience in asset management, fund operations, private banking support, wealth management operations, KYC, client onboarding, or reconciliation functions.
• Strong knowledge of KYC, onboarding, due diligence, reconciliation processes, and investment operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front office support activities, client reporting, onboarding and maintenance for private mandates and family office clients.
• Lead KYC processes for client onboarding and ongoing due diligence.
• Manage reconciliation of stock, cash, and portfolio data to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure mandates are valued accurately and within timelines.
• Review processes for internal controls, regulatory compliance, and investment guidelines.
• Act as liaison between clients, custodians, and internal stakeholders to facilitate operations.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team.

Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Team Lead, FO Support, Recon & KYC to join RHB Asset Management. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing front office support activities, client reporting, account onboarding and maintenance, KYC processes, and reconciliation functions for private mandates and family office clients. You will play a critical role in ensuring operational accuracy, regulatory compliance, and seamless client servicing while leading and developing a high-performing team.

What you will be doing

• Manage client reporting activities for private mandates and family office clients, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
• Oversee account opening, account maintenance, and KYC processes for client onboarding and ongoing due diligence requirements
• Manage operational due diligence (ODD) activities related to investment mandates
• Perform and oversee stock, cash, and portfolio reconciliations for mandates to ensure data integrity and accuracy
• Ensure mandates are valued accurately and within established timelines
• Review and monitor operational processes to ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and investment guidelines
• Act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, clients, custodians, and other service providers to facilitate smooth operations
• Identify and implement process enhancements to improve operational efficiency and service delivery
• Resolve operational issues and exceptions in a timely and effective manner
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve operational excellence and business objectives
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• Relevant experience in asset management, fund operations, private banking support, wealth management operations, KYC, client onboarding, or reconciliation functions
• Strong understanding of client onboarding, KYC and due diligence requirements, reconciliation processes, and investment operations
• Knowledge of private mandates, family office servicing, and portfolio valuation processes would be an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to guide, mentor, and develop a team
• Strong commitment to risk management, governance, and regulatory compliance
