You will explain products, guide customers through applications and contributions, assist with policy changes and claims, keep records in CRM, prepare basic reports, and collaborate with the team to resolve issues, all in a remote work setting.

Role Description

The Takaful Associate is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting customers and partners with takaful-related inquiries, enrollment, and servicing activities. Day-to-day tasks include explaining takaful products and benefits, guiding customers through application and contribution processes, and assisting with policy changes and claims documentation. The role involves maintaining accurate records in internal systems, preparing basic reports, and collaborating with team members to ensure timely resolution of customer issues. The Takaful Associate also follows internal guidelines and Shariah-compliant procedures to ensure that all interactions and documentation meet regulatory and company standards. This position requires proactive communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering a positive customer experience in a remote work setting.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills, including the ability to explain financial or insurance concepts clearly and empathetically.
• Basic understanding of takaful or insurance principles, with an interest in Shariah-compliant financial solutions.
• Solid organizational and administrative abilities, including data entry accuracy, documentation management, and follow-up on customer requests.
• Comfort with remote work tools and digital platforms, such as CRM systems, video conferencing, and secure document handling.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate with a distributed team across different locations.
• Relevant experience in customer support, financial services, or insurance is preferred; familiarity with local regulatory requirements is an advantage.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field is beneficial, or equivalent practical experience.
• Commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies and Shariah guidelines.
