Job description

The Role

The tasks include building training and education infrastructure in the country and being responsible for the delivery of product training. The Training and Education Specialist is responsible to ensure that needs in local training and education programs are fulfilled (quality and effectiveness of courses, implementation of planned courses, resource planning, know‑how).

Tasks

Internal Training and Customer Education (CE) plan

Following Straumann curriculum, collaborate in the development and implementation of Internal training and CE program, in response to new product launch and sales cycles, working closely together with the sales and marketing organization.

This includes budget planning, activities plan, implementation, and evaluation on all internal training and CE activities.

Content development of Internal Training and Sales Support

Further development of equipment and adaptation of presentation material.

Adapt sales training and demonstration materials.

Contribute to the development of the education curriculum for customer trainings in the region.

Planning, delivery and controlling of CE programs

Plan and monitor yearly, quarterly, and monthly CE activities with ROI measurement.

Provide product trainings to customers and staff in order to support business growth (Instructor at hands-on courses).

Provide evaluation and monthly reports on CE program to Senior Management.

Content development of Customer Training

Technical main contact person for corporate customers / universities / local trainers at subsidiaries in the region, including dental assistant / lab technician training.

Universities Post Graduate Education Content

Collaborate closely with Universities to provide and support their post graduate courses by helping them to develop the content and co-curriculum.

Identify ways to collaborate with the University to provide Master Class on Basic, Intermediate and advance courses.

Education/Professional Experience

• Dental technician or degree in dentistry
• Professional experience in adult education
• Experience in conceptual matters
• Professional expertise as a dental technician: Minimum of 3 years’ dental practice in either hospitals/clinics or dental laboratories
• English is a must
