JOB OVERVIEW

The Sales Specialist is responsible for executing sales activities and achieving assigned targets within a defined territory. The role focuses on driving product adoption, managing customer relationships, and ensuring consistent execution of commercial strategies.

This position operates under guidance from the Line Manager and plays a key role in delivering day-to-day sales performance across standard accounts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Sales Execution & Territory Management

• Achieve assigned sales targets within the defined territory
• Execute sales plans and promotional activities in line with business objectives
• Maintain regular customer engagement and ensure consistent coverage

2. Customer Management

• Manage and grow relationships with accounts
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate product solutions
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service

3. Product Promotion & Clinical Support

• Promote Straumann products and solutions to dental professionals
• Support product usage and basic clinical understanding
• Assist in local events, workshops, and product demonstrations

4. Pipeline & Opportunity Management

• Identify and follow up on sales opportunities within the territory
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities
• Provide regular updates on pipeline and performance

5. Cross-functional Coordination

• Work closely with T&E, Marketing and support teams to execute campaigns
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues

PROFILE & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 1–5+ years of sales experience (medical/dental preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
