Job summary

PMX Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a hands-on Testing and Commissioning Lead to plan, lead, and execute testing and commissioning activities for data centre systems, ensuring all equipment is fully functional and ready for handover.

You will coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and clients, develop test procedures and commissioning plans, review technical documentation, and ensure compliance with industry standards and QHSE requirements to deliver projects on time.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and oversee testing and commissioning activities for mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Develop, review, and approve test procedures, commissioning plans, and technical documentation.
• Ensure all systems are tested for functionality, performance, and reliability before handover.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during testing and commissioning stages.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor progress and ensure all commissioning activities are completed within project timelines.
• Review and validate test reports, including defect tracking, corrective actions, and final documentation.
• Provide technical guidance, support, and training to engineering and operations teams.
• Ensure proper planning of equipment layout, maintenance access, and operational efficiency.
• Lead or participate in project reviews, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure full compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) standards at all times
