Job summary

PMX Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to oversee design, development, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems for our projects.

The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring safety and quality standards, and delivering projects within budget and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day planning and engineering activities for projects.
• Oversee project functions including site management, project controls, engineering, procurement, and construction management.
• Develop and supervise installation methodologies, task plans, and work procedures.
• Monitor project progress against budget and schedule forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, QA/QC, and project quality standards.
• Coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, clients, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and present progress reports to management.
• Identify project variations, risks, and additional work requirements.
• Conduct project meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
• Manage project close-out activities, including warranties and final acceptance documentation.
• Support tendering and proposal activities.
• Lead electrical and electronic works throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate Testing & Commissioning activities, including functional and performance testing of systems and equipment.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management

Job description
