Job summary

CTC Global Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an IT Field Service professional to schedule, perform, and document preventive maintenance for enterprise systems. You will support Level 1 engineers, handle onsite/offsite customer support, and assist in large scale deployments while ensuring timelines are met.

The role requires 2–4 years of relevant experience, strong UNIX/Linux and Windows know-how, and familiarity with VMware and storage solutions. Availability for 24/7 standby is valued.

Qualifications

• IT degree or diploma required with 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of UNIX variants, Windows OS, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with VMware environments and storage solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedules with customers on preventive maintenance activities.
• Performs onsite comprehensive preventive maintenance.
• Updates tickets in a Field Service Management System.
• Provides technical assistance to Level 1 Engineers.
• Supports customers onsite or offsite and after-hours as needed.
• Conducts project testing, commissioning, and deployment assistance.
• Prepare incident reports and contribute to project documentation.
