Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join our Kuala Lumpur team in Malaysia. You will respond to client support requests, travel to client locations or connect remotely, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

You will install and maintain hardware and peripherals, install and upgrade operating systems and software, and troubleshoot networking issues. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with flexibility to work after hours when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.
• 2–4 years of work experience as a desktop support engineer or support technician.
• Strong hardware knowledge and peripherals.
• Knowledge of common operating systems and remote connection tools.
• Ability to diagnose complex hardware and software issues.
• Willingness to travel and work after hours when needed.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client support requests and gather problem details.
• Travel to clients or connect remotely to diagnose issues.
