Jora Malaysia is seeking a System Administrator and Analyst to oversee POS systems across Malaysia, manage data analysis, and drive business improvements. You will configure and maintain POS, Wi‑Fi, CCTV, and related systems for all stores, while collaborating with business and tech teams to deliver enhancements and insights.

As a System Administrator and Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and administering the POS system, analysing data, and translating it into effective solutions. Besides, you will be in charge of Wi‑Fi and CCTV setup and maintenance, as well as system enhancements for all stores throughout Malaysia.
Administering Point-of-Sales (POS) system, including ordering & installation arrangement, menu & promotion setup, and updating pricing.
Define strategies and goals while ensuring the POS systems' daily management, support and maintenance are met.
Deliver data support by accessing and working with large data from multiple sources, and partnering it with the business to identify strategic opportunities and deliver results.
Managed and tracked campaign performances, including conducting all analyses and post-campaign reporting.
Providing accurate and timely financial information for management to make data-driven decisions.
Identify issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outline business impacts.
Serve as a liaison between the business and technology teams, manage configurations, develop best practice processes and deliver future enhancements.
All types of system support - including POS, wifi, CCTV setup and maintenance, and any system enhancement the company adds to support the stores.
Assist in ad-hoc projects related to business analysis.
At least a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, IT or other relevant field.
At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position, or a combination of working experience in IT system administration and the accounting field in the commercial industry.
Rapidly adapt to new technologies and possess expertise with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel (Advanced), Power BI and a broad range of statistical software.
Strong communication/ interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills to support operations by analysing key performance indicators and trends.
Ability to implement strategies for gathering, reviewing and analyzing data requirements.
A systematic thinker who can understand the holistic picture and complex considerations.
Ability to present complex ideas and solutions in a structured manner.
Good at problem-solving skills and takes immediate action on the issues.
