Job summary

Capital Dynamics in Malaysia is seeking a capable IT professional to develop and maintain global websites and internal web applications. The role covers requirements analysis, design, coding, testing and documentation to support business operations across borders.

You will explore new database and web technologies, advise stakeholders on system improvements, and collaborate with international teams. A solid degree in CS or IT is required, with strong SQL skills and experience in databases like

Qualifications

• A solid degree in Computer Science or IT from a reputable university.
• Passion for web application development, system administration and support.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Table Store, MongoDB.
• Solid understanding of web technologies and system security.
• Scripting proficiency in Bash, Python and Perl is a plus.
• Experience with LAMP and Windows Server administration.
• Experience or familiarity with E-commerce and payment gateway integrations.
• Ability to work in a team and take responsibility.

• Developing and maintaining global websites and web-based applications for in-house use.
• Conducting requirements analysis, software design, coding, testing and documentation.

Requirements:

• A solid degree in Computer Science or IT from a reputable university.
• Passion for web application development, system administration and support, and a perfectionist nature.
• Great aptitude for SQL and a variety of database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Table Store, MongoDB.
• An excellent understanding of system security and web technologies.
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages using Bash, Python and Perl would be an advantage.
• An understanding of how to conduct basic system administration of LAMP and Windows Servers.
• Practical experience in the implementation of E-commerce and Payment gateway would be an added advantage.
• The ability to work in a team environment while being highly responsible for one's own affairs.
