Job summary

KPJ Selangor Specialist Hospital seeks a Sustainability Projects Coordinator to lead planning, execution and delivery of energy efficiency, renewable energy and green building initiatives across the group. You will translate approved plans into work packages, coordinate hospital teams and partners, and monitor progress, costs, risks and outcomes to support the Group’s Net Zero Roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Project Management, Business or related discipline.
• Certification in project management, energy management or green buildings is an advantage.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in project coordination, operational delivery, facilities or sustainability initiatives.
• Experience with multiple stakeholders or sites is preferred.
• Exposure to energy efficiency, renewable energy, water, waste or green-building projects is desirable.
• Understanding of procurement workflows, project documentation, risk controls and benefits measurement.
• Healthcare-sector experience and hospital operations familiarity are advantages.
• Strong planning, coordination and problem-solving skills, with ability to manage concurrent work packages.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver sustainability projects across KPJ hospitals and business units.
• Develop work plans, feasibility studies and business cases for Senior Manager review.
• Coordinate site assessments, readiness checks and contractor deliverables.
• Track progress, manage risks, costs and changes; maintain records and reports.
• Support commissioning, handover, audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure patient care and safety while integrating technical designs and SOPs.
