Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad in Malaysia seeks a results-driven Sustainability Project Specialist to coordinate and deliver assigned sustainability projects across KPJ hospitals and business units under the Senior Manager, Project Operations & Delivery.

You will translate approved plans into work packages, monitor costs, risks and benefits, and support energy efficiency, green buildings and sustainable procurement while maintaining reliable records and ensuring patient safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Project Management, Business or related.
• Certification in project management, energy management or green buildings is an advantage.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in project coordination or sustainability initiatives.
• Exposure to energy efficiency, renewable energy, water, waste or green-building projects is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop work plans for assigned projects with scope, milestones and resources.
• Coordinate site assessments and readiness checks with hospital and technical teams.
• Track activities against plans, resolve issues and escalate delays.
• Coordinate delivery with hospital teams, contractors and partners.
• Maintain project budgets, cost trackers and procurement documentation.
• Prepare project status reports for the Senior Manager.
