The Sustainability Executive supports PKPRF's compliance and daily operations by maintaining accurate sustainability records, keeping our certification documents up to date, and making sure the plant is always ready for audits. This is a focused role centred on protecting the accuracy of our tracking and reporting systems, while also providing general compliance and administrative support to the wider plant team.
The Sustainability Executive plays a key role in supporting the company's sustainability certification and compliance initiatives, working closely with various departments and management to ensure our operations remain aligned with environmental standards and industry best practices.
Transaction Logging: Execute routine data entry into the European Union Database (UDB) for trace-level material movements (feedstock input, production volumes, sales, and outgoing shipments).
Audit Coordination: Act as the primary administrative focal point during auditor site visits, facilitating document retrieval and walkthroughs.
Audit Documentation: Maintain organized physical and digital records required for annual audits (e.g., origin documentation, weighbridge tickets, bills of lading, yield factors).
Cross-Department Coordination: Work closely with plant operations, warehouse, commercial/sales, and procurement teams to ensure compliance procedures are followed during daily receiving and dispatch.
SOP Maintenance: Draft and update internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to sustainability, traceability, and material segregation.
Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Chemical/Process Engineering, Business, or a related field; candidates with equivalent practical experience will be considered
Strong attention to detail and disciplined, accurate data-entry habits
Comfortable working with structured databases, spreadsheets, and document-control systems
Good written and verbal communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia, for coordinating across plant, commercial, and procurement teams
Willingness to learn company-specific ISCC and UDB processes under the guidance of the company, and to work independently once trained
Able to work on-site at Pulau Indah, Port Klang; own transport preferred given limited public transport access to the facility
Basic exposure to compliance, sustainability, ISCC, or QA/QHSE documentation is an advantage but not mandatory
