Job summary

Asian Secrets Sdn Bhd seeks an intern to support stock control, logistics and production in Malaysia. You will assist with comprehensive management of inventory, warehousing, and cross-department coordination to ensure smooth operations and on-time deliveries.

You will gain hands-on experience across supply chain processes and be involved in improvement initiatives while contributing to daily business activities and adapting to dynamic needs.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain & Logistics Management or related field.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to troubleshoot and show problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, take initiative and accept responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory, logistics, supply chain and production operations to ensure efficiency.
• Manage warehousing activities, materials handling and packaging processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless stock management.
• Plan and control the flow of goods, forward and reverse, for efficiency.
• Maintain inventory movements and ensure on-time deliveries to customers.
• Organize and maintain warehouse and inventory with accurate documentation.
• Implement and manage a labeling and barcode system for stock items.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as required by top management.

Job Description for Stock Control, Logistics, and Production

• Comprehensive Management: Oversee inventory, logistics, supply chain, and production, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
• Warehousing and Materials Handling: Manage warehousing activities, materials handling, and packaging to optimize our processes.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate and coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless stock management.
• Supply Chain Optimization: Plan, implement, and control the efficiency and effectiveness of the flow of goods, both forward and reverse.
• Customer Satisfaction: Maintain all inventory movements and processes to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time deliveries.
• Warehouse Organization: Organize and maintain the warehouse and inventory to facilitate efficient material storage and handling, while maintaining accurate tracking and documentation.
• Labelling and Barcoding: Implement and manage a labelling and item barcode system for each stock item.
• Ad-Hoc Duties: Be prepared to perform other ad-hoc duties as required by top management, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.
