Job summary

Hot Palette (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Procurement professional to assist the Senior Manager in managing reliable, cost-effective supply of ingredients and equipment for Malaysia operations. You will supervise purchasing, coordinate with suppliers, and support outlet profitability through data-driven procurement decisions.

Experience in multi-unit F&B, logistics or trading, plus English and Mandarin fluency, are essential.

Qualifications

2-3 years of relevant experience in a multi-unit F&B, Logistics or Trading environment
Degree or equivalent specialising in Supply Chain/Procurement, Logistics
Strong working knowledge of supervising trading inventory purchasing and logistics activities, allocating work and checking deadlines, accuracy and service standards
Solution driven mindset and strong problem-solving abilities
Fluent in English & Mandarin, both written and spoken

Responsibilities

Supervise daily purchasing and logistics activities, allocating work and checking deadlines, accuracy and service standards.
Coach the Supply Chain Executive, review work quality and provide performance feedback to the Procurement Senior Manager (HPAPC)
Source ingredients, operating supplies and equipment; compare quotations and negotiate prices and terms within delegated authority.
Monitor supplier quality, prices and delivery performance; resolve routine issues and escalat[e] significant risks with recommended actions.
Coordinate demand forecasts, stock availability and third-party logistics (3PL) deliveries for company-operated and franchised outlets.
Maintain accurate induction cooker and equipment asset records; coordinate allocation, transport, maintenance and overhaul to support equipment availability.
Monitor procurement, rental, equipment and logistics costs against approved budgets; address variances and recommend savings based on total ownership costs.
Verify updated food costs, monthly equipment licence, rental and food commission data with Finance for accurate billing and reporting.
Work with Product Development, Operations, Marketing, Quality Assurance and Franchise teams on ingredient trials, promotions and supply readiness.
Check product specifications and supplier documentation against approved quality and food safety requirements; coordinate corrective actions with Quality Assurance.
