Job summary

PERSOL Malaysia is seeking a seasoned supply chain and procurement leader to oversee menu planning, product development, and supplier management for its food operations in Kuala Lumpur. You will drive cost control, negotiate with suppliers, manage inventory, and coordinate distribution and order systems across stores and head office.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or related field and brings at least 8 years of F&B

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the F&B industry.
• Strong existing supplier network and prior experience dealing with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Formulate annual core menu plans and coordinate monthly new product launches.
• Develop new products using local and overseas ingredients with pricing structures.
• Manage procurement of ingredients, equipment, packaging, and office supplies.
• Negotiate with suppliers to reduce costs or mitigate price increases.
• Control costs by adjusting portions and pricing in line with budget.
• Maintain warehouse inventory for imported and local items and prevent expiry.
• Establish domestic distribution routes with low-cost logistics.
• Develop and operate the Order Management System with IT collaboration.
• Train and supervise staff.
