Job summary

AM SALES & MARKETING SDN BHD is seeking a Supply Chain Executive to manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and terms, and oversee purchase orders and deliveries. The role involves coordinating with warehouse, logistics and finance to ensure on-time arrivals and accurate invoicing.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in related fields, 2–3 years in Purchasing or SCM, and strong Excel and accounting software skills. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management; fresh grads encouraged.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and any accounting software.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers and negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery lead times.
• Prepare purchase orders and track fulfillment to meet ETAs and delivery times.
• Compare prices, specs and terms to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse, logistics, and finance on orders and deliveries.
• Resolve supplier issues related to pricing, delays or quality.
• Verify supplier invoices and delivery orders against POs for accuracy.
• Coordinate returns or rejects of goods as necessary.
• Monitor inventory levels and plan based on sales and reorder reports.

Job description

Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery lead time and establish strong supplier relationships, to ensure the best value for the company.

Prepare purchase orders and track order fulfillment, ensuring adherence to delivery times and estimated arrival dates (ETAs). Communicate any deviations to relevant parties promptly.

Compare prices, specifications and delivery terms to ensure cost-effective purchasing.

Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse, logistics and finance department regarding orders and deliveries.

Resolve supplier issues related to pricing, delivery delays or product quality.

Verify supplier invoices and delivery orders against Purchase Orders to ensure accuracy.

Coordinate and manage the process of returning or rejecting goods to suppliers as necessary.

Monitor inventory levels and plan inventory requirements based on sales order report and reorder report.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field.

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management. However fresh graduates are also encourage to apply.
