Job summary

Lypometal Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Sub-cont Officer based in Sungai Petani, Kedah. • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in subcontracting or production planning
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with ERP
• Understand production capacity of sub-contractor
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping

Responsibilities

• Follow up with sub-contractors on order status and delivery schedules.
• Arrange and coordinate transportation for incoming and outgoing parts to and from all sub-contractors.
• Monitor subordinate performance and ensure assigned tasks are carried out effectively and efficiently.
• Monitor sub-cont area housekeeping and proper working condition.
• Preparing subcontract documentation, including agreements, amendments and records
• Coordinate with Production Control and Production Department to ensure smooth and timely movement of parts between production and sub-contractor.
• Follow up and monitor overdue orders with sub-contractors and ensure timely recovery action.
• Report any shipment delays, capacity constraints or potential delivery issues to Production Control and Shipping for appropriate action.
• Monitor sub-contractor capacity and production progress to identify potential delivery risks.
• Maintain proper records and documentation related to sub-contractor orders, deliveries and transportation arrangement.

Monitor and maintain good housekeeping and proper working condition within sub-cont area.

Preparing subcontract documentation, including agreements, amendments and records

Coordinate with Production Control and Production Department to ensure smooth and timely movement of parts between production and sub-contractor.

Follow up and monitor overdue orders with sub-contractors and ensure timely recovery action.

What we're looking for
