Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Civil Engineer with hands-on site experience to manage daily operations and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in civil works, strong knowledge of engineering principles, ability to read drawings, and solid communication and leadership skills for on-site coordination.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years hands-on experience in civil works or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, site management and safety practices.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Good communication, problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks on site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily site operations to ensure project is executed on time and within budget.
• Monitor and enforce site safety compliance in accordance with industry regulations and standards.
• Report on technical quality, workmanship and execution of civil works to management.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and site teams to resolve technical issues.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Ensure all works meet required quality standards and project specifications.
