Job summary

Haskell APAC is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer in Kuala Lumpur to lead structural design across varied buildings and industrial projects. You will contribute from early design through construction documentation, performing detailed analyses and coordinating with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil/Structural Engineering degree (BEM) with 3–5 years of relevant experience and strong skills in ETABS, STAAD.Pro, and Revit, plus knowledge

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognised by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
• 3–5 years of relevant structural engineering experience, preferably in buildings or industrial projects.
• Proficiency in ETABS, STAAD.Pro and Revit for 3D modelling and coordination.
• Familiarity with Eurocodes/BS standards or ACI/ANSI as applicable.
• Experience supporting overseas projects or collaboration with international teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in structural design projects for buildings and structures from early design to construction documentation.
• Perform detailed or routine engineering tasks involving structural analysis and design.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues.
• Stay updated with industry trends, codes, and design practices for compliant solutions.
• Liaise with vendors and authorities to obtain information and support coordination.
• Prepare design calculations and drawings aligned with codes and standards.
• Attend design, client, coordination, and site meetings to provide input and support.
• Coordinate across architectural, MEP, and construction teams throughout projects.
