Job summary

Ramboll Buildings in Asia Pacific, Malaysia, invites a Structural Engineer to join the High-Rise & Complex Buildings team in Kuala Lumpur. You will own structural design across a portfolio of complex projects, delivering buildable solutions from concept through submission and construction.

You will perform calculations, drawings and reports using ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE and Revit, manage your workload, and collaborate with directors, disciplines and clients to realise ambitious towers with rigour

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in structural design.
Experience in a consultancy firm is preferred.
Knowledge of structural modelling software including ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE and Revit.
Knowledge of GIS software, Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley OpenRoads.
Knowledge of parametric software such as Rhino and Grasshopper is highly regarded.
Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Produce structural engineering calculations, drawings, specifications and reports.
Manage workload, delegate to staff and liaise with project consultants.
Coordinate with project directors and associates throughout the lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with Ramboll standards, codes and IMS procedures.
Prepare and present design concepts to support approvals and construction.
