Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a BIM Coordinator/Modeler to develop and maintain BIM models across the project lifecycle. You will produce and update CSD/CCM, perform clash detection, and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients to secure approvals and meet project requirements.

The role requires reading architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, 2+ years of BIM experience, and proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. Travel to site may be necessary in this position.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as BIM Coordinator, BIM Modeler, or a similar role.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other BIM software.
• Strong knowledge of clash detection, spatial coordination, CSD, and CCM preparation.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP construction drawings.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, and clients throughout project execution.
• Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and coordinate BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and update Combined Services Drawings (CSD) and Combined Clearance Matrices (CCM).
• Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts using BIM software.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, contractors, and project teams to obtain drawing approvals and ensure project requirements are met.
• Review and update BIM models based on design revisions and site feedback.
• Ensure BIM deliverables comply with project standards, specifications, and deadlines.
• Attend coordination meetings and provide technical support throughout the construction process.
• Travel to project sites when required to support coordination and implementation.
