Job summary

Reliant Design Solutions in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a BIM Modeler to develop and maintain data-rich BIM models for architecture, structure and MEP projects. You will support coordination, documentation and digital project delivery across disciplines.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Architecture or related field, with 2–3 years’ BIM modelling experience, and familiarity with Navisworks or AutoCAD is a plus. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management, Building Design or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of BIM modelling experience in AEC, construction, or infrastructure.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit (Architecture, Structure, or MEP).
• Experience in multidisciplinary BIM environments preferred.
• Familiarity with Navisworks and AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings and details.
• Strong attention to detail, coordination skills and willingness to learn.
• Collaborative team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality BIM models for Architectural, Structural, or MEP disciplines using Autodesk Revit.
• Convert 2D drawings and specifications into accurate 3D models with data-rich content.
• Collaborate with BIM Coordinators, engineers, and project teams for model coordination and delivery.
• Participate in clash detection, model reviews and coordination activities to improve design quality.
• Ensure BIM deliverables meet project requirements, LOD, BIM standards and workflows.
• Contribute to digital project delivery initiatives using BIM technologies.

Responsibility

The BIM Modeler is responsible for developing and maintaining BIM models for Architectural, Structural, or MEP projects, supporting coordination, documentation, and digital project delivery. You will work closely with project teams to create accurate, data-driven models that enhance project efficiency and collaboration.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering digitally enabled building and infrastructure projects by developing coordinated BIM models, supporting multidisciplinary collaboration, and ensuring high standards of model quality and project delivery.

• Develop and maintain high-quality BIM models for Architectural, Structural, or MEP disciplines using Autodesk Revit.
• Convert 2D drawings, design information, and technical specifications into accurate and data-rich 3D models.
• Collaborate with BIM Coordinators, engineers, and project teams to support model coordination and project delivery.
• Participate in clash detection, model reviews, and coordination activities to improve design quality and constructability.
• Ensure BIM deliverables comply with project requirements, Level of Development (LOD), BIM standards, and company BIM workflows.
• Contribute to digital project delivery initiatives using industry-leading BIM technologies.
