Job summary

Forwardlog Automation in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to spearhead our Warehouse Automation Solutions growth, drive new business, manage key accounts, and lead complex solution sales cycles involving robotics, WMS integration, and intralogistics automation.

You will collaborate with engineering and presales, develop ROI-driven proposals, and negotiate contracts while traveling as required to key customers and exhibits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of B2B solution sales experience in warehouse automation or intralogistics.
• Proven track record in managing long and complex sales cycles.
• Strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional technical teams.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in warehouse automation and intralogistics solutions.
• Develop strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and margin targets.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and industry engagement.
• Expand market penetration across retail, e-commerce, manufacturing, FMCG, and 3PL sectors.
• Lead consultative sales engagements, understanding customer operational challenges and proposing tailored automation solutions.
• Coordinate with engineering, presales, and technical teams to develop system designs, proposals, and ROI justifications.
• Manage long and complex sales cycles, including technical presentations, site visits, proof-of-concepts, and tender submissions.
• Negotiate commercial terms and manage contract closure.
