Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan EPS Consultants Sdn Bhd is seeking a seasoned Tender Manager in Penang, Malaysia. You will lead the entire tender cycle from assessment to submission, and work with Business Development to identify opportunities aligned with company goals.

You will supervise cost calculations, approve tenders, manage project costing and margins, and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms. This role requires strong procurement expertise and the ability to drive value across complex

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in QS/SCM/Procurement/Business or Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in Tender, QS, Procurement or SCM.
• Experience in project-based, construction, ELV, ICT or infrastructure environments is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently with guidance.
• Ability to manage multiple procurement tasks within deadlines.
• Ability to interpret budgets, cost breakdowns, and basic financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the entire tendering process, from preliminary assessment to final submission.
• Collaborate with Business Development to assess tenders and align with company objectives.
• Ensure preparation of technical proposals meeting client specifications.
• Supervise tender cost calculations and determine pricing strategies.
• Approve and finalize tender submissions to maximize winning potential.
• Oversee project costing and margin analysis for financial viability.
• Approve POs related to project procurement, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors for terms.
• Monitor sourcing strategies for labour and materials for execution.
• Oversee management of project variation orders (VO).
