Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics or equivalent.
• 0-5 years of experience as buyer/planner in a direct manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of forecasting, MRP, inventory management and purchasing disciplines.
• Proficient with MS Office suite – advanced MS Excel skills.
• CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
• Ability to work independently and across multiple groups with strong organization.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage the purchasing cycle: requisitions, PO creation, PO follow-up, goods receipt and final payment.
• Establish specifications for optimal quantities, quality and cost impact to production.
• Participate in contract negotiation strategy and development.
• Determine inventory strategy across segments and sites.
• Manage SAP-based demand sourcing and production planning.
• Place POs and monitor on-time delivery; resolve PO–invoice issues.
• Monitor supplier performance via scorecards and KPIs.
• Negotiate at order and forecast demand levels, including price breaks.
• Maintain supplier base and support MRB processes.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
