Job summary

Schneider Electric in Malaysia is seeking a Regional Tender Manager to lead strategic tender management and contract negotiations. You will animate the account community (SAE, KAM, country and local TMs) with regular meetings, reporting, and resources planning to win opportunities.

You will consolidate tendering tools, templates and methods, ensure consistency across countries, monitor bid directions, and lead the extended Tender team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Solution Tendering or Customer project environment.
• 5 years of experience in project team management, including remote teams.
• Experience in Datacenter environments is a strong plus.
• Proven ability to lead functional and remote teams with diverse profiles.
• Ability to influence and negotiate in a complex matrix organization.
• Ability to handle time pressure while maintaining high performance.
• Willingness to learn, share knowledge, coach others and collaborate efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Animate the account community around the tendering portfolio with regular meetings and reports.
• Improve customer satisfaction through a globalized approach with internal and external customers.
• Standardize designs, prices and conditions across countries by leading SMEs.
• Consolidate tendering tools, templates and methods for local/regional/global use.
• Formalize Lessons Learnt from Tender and Execution stages with quick feedback loops.
• Drive digitization in line with the group strategy and ensure timely tender delivery.
• Monitor direction, timeline and status of opportunities; be the accountable owner.
• Lead the extended Tender team and ensure consistent interfaces across packages/projects.
