Job summary

Singtel Malaysia is launching a brand-new Shared Services Centre and seeks a Talent Acquisition Lead to drive end-to-end recruitment for Malacca and Kuala Lumpur. You will partner with BU leaders, shape talent strategies, and build robust pipelines to meet hiring targets.

You will manage TA Managers, coach teams, and ensure governance and regulatory compliance while delivering high-quality recruitment advisory across IT, Finance, and Corporate roles.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in HR, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• 10-15 years’ recruitment experience in large or GBS organisations.
• Proven experience in hiring across IT, Technology, Finance, and Corporate roles.
• Strong stakeholder management and advisory capabilities.
• Experience in leading project-based or large-scale hiring in Finance, IT, Tech, or Telco industries.
• Strong understanding of the Malaysian talent market and recruitment channels for talent advisory.
• Demonstrated experience to lead career fairs, campus hiring, and employer branding.
• Strong grasp of recruitment governance and local employment regulations.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the end-to-end Talent Acquisition process in Malaysia.
• Drive sustainable talent acquisition strategies and provide high-quality recruitment advisory to line managers for core recruitment and leadership roles.
• Enhance and deepen sourcing channels and platforms to build candidate pipelines.
• Lead Talent Mapping requests and provide talent insights to drive more targeted sourcing activities.
• Partner with Senior Level Leadership to understand business complexities and define the best hiring path.
• Conduct regular meetings with BU Leads and senior leadership to address gaps and improve hiring strategies.
• Collaborate with People and Culture Lead to identify current external and internal talent gaps.
• Inspire and develop a team to achieve hiring targets and KPIs.
