AEON Co. (M) Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Store/Mall Expansion Leader to drive strategic growth through new stores and mall developments. You will oversee site selection, feasibility studies and investment proposals, coordinating cross-functional teams across Leasing, Legal, Finance and Construction.

Your role includes leading negotiations, managing budgets, ensuring timely delivery and providing market insights to shape future expansion plans. Travel to sites will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, property management, business administration, finance, economics, urban planning or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in retail property development, store expansion, mall development or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic expansion plans for new stores and malls aligned with growth objectives.
• Identify priority markets and suitable locations based on commercial potential, demand and profitability.
• Lead site identification, feasibility studies and investment proposals for Management’s approval.
• Lead negotiations with landlords and property owners on terms and volumes.
• Monitor project budgets, timelines and operational requirements across Leasing, Legal, Finance and Construction.
• Provide market and competitive insights to strengthen AEON’s position and identify growth opportunities.
• Oversee performance reviews of new/opened stores and optimize expansion strategies.
