AEON Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Leasing Manager to lead the mall leasing strategy, negotiate terms, and optimize tenant mix across its properties. The role requires strong leadership to manage a leasing team and close deals that align with business objectives.

You will conduct market research, monitor performance, and collaborate with Finance, Operations, Marketing and Legal to ensure timely store openings and compliant leases.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Marketing/Business Studies/Estate Management or relevant field.
• 7-8 years’ experience in property sales and marketing, especially retail leasing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong report writing and presentation skills.
• Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Lead and oversee the mall’s leasing strategy to achieve occupancy and rental revenue targets.
• Develop and implement leasing plans aligned with mall positioning and market trends.
• Identify, engage and secure tenants, brands and concepts to strengthen the offering.
• Lead lease negotiations from discussion to final execution.
• Review and approve lease proposals and related documentation.
• Manage renewals, rent adjustments and lease compliance.
• Build strong relationships with tenants, landlords and stakeholders.
• Monitor tenants’ performance and occupancy costs; propose actions.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
• Lead tenancy-mix planning for balanced offerings.
• Coordinate with Finance, Operations, Marketing, Legal for smooth onboarding.
• Monitor fit-out progress and opening dates.
