Job summary

Mitsubishi Elevator Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a responsible Costing & Procurement Officer to support service and project operations, focusing on costing, sourcing, purchasing and supplier coordination to ensure timely delivery at competitive prices.

You’ll work with suppliers and internal teams, prepare POs, monitor orders, maintain costing data in ERP/CRM systems such as Infor LN, SAP or Salesforce, and compile regular procurement reports.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in supply chain, business administration, or engineering.
• Experience in procurement, costing or related roles preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems like Infor LN, SAP or Salesforce is a plus.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Source and obtain quotations for equipment, parts, materials and services.
• Compare quotations and negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and terms.
• Support costing, cost comparison and budget estimation for materials and services.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders to approved suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate purchasing requirements with Installation, Maintenance Sales and other teams.
• Monitor purchase orders and follow up on timely delivery.
• Liaise with logistics and project teams on material delivery.
• Maintain costing data in ERP/CRM systems and generate reports.
• Identify new suppliers based on cost, quality and delivery requirements.
