Job summary

Mikro MSC Berhad is seeking a Senior Procurement Executive to lead strategic sourcing, supplier management and cost optimisation to support our manufacturing operations.

You will negotiate with key suppliers, manage POs and collaborate with Production and Engineering, while maintaining SAP-based data and driving continuous procurement improvements. This role is based in Selangor, Malaysia, with a focus on delivering reliable supply and value across the organization.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Technology Management or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, verify and issue Purchase Orders (POs) for raw materials based on approved PRs.
• Source materials according to required specifications, quantities, pricing and delivery timelines.
• Manage end-to-end procurement for indirect purchases, including MRO items, IT equipment, CAPEX and facilities services.
• Monitor open POs and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and uninterrupted operations.
• Collaborate with Production to resolve material shortages and minimise production disruption.
• Maintain accurate PO, pricing and supplier information in SAP.
• Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers for components and external services.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor performance across quality, delivery, and cost.
