Job summary

Daikin Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (DAMA) seeks a Sales and Marketing Executive to drive revenue by meeting targeted sales budgets and supporting marketing activities.

The role focuses on cultivating local and international business opportunities and maintaining strong customer relationships to ensure timely product launches and deliveries. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, assist in pricing and forecasting, manage customer data, and support order processing from inquiry through to

Qualifications

• Market and product knowledge.
• Sales budget and budgeting preparation.
• Reasonable understanding of sales and shipping activities and documentation.
• Complete product knowledge.
• SAP fundamentals and sales and finished goods related modules.
• Problem solving abilities, particularly at the executive level.
• Decision-making and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales budgets through active sales and marketing activities.
• Identify business opportunities locally and overseas, establish and maintain long-term business relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Assist Sales Section Head and Department Head in deciding product pricing and sales forecast by providing industry and market information.
• Ensure timeliness and accurate sales and marketing information for Material Control and Production department.
• Renew and maintain customer information.
• Provide efficient and sufficient promotional material support to customers.
• Prepare and update all technical manuals and catalogues.
• Process orders by liaising with customers, negotiating and finalizing deals in accordance with production capacity and capability.
• Manage and track orders by liaising with various departments including Material Control and Production.
• Ensure optimal bill collection and debtor turnover period by establishing collection activities, deciding credit terms, and pursuing payment from customers.
