Job summary

Advantek Malaysia is seeking an Account Manager to drive sales revenue targets and coordinate with supply chain and customer service for the assigned customer base.

You will lead day-to-day sales activities, collaborate with China and Taiwan teams, and mentor the Sales Engineer and Application Support Engineer. Penang-based role requires strong English communication and five years of sales experience in a semiconductor environment.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of professional sales experience.
• Bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience in semiconductor/electronics manufacturing is an advantage.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking customers and teams as needed.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and sells existing and new products.
• Achieves revenue and market penetration targets.
• Supports key account strategies and services all customers in the territory.
• Monitors and reports on customer activities and competitive developments.
• Manages day-to-day sales operations including orders and inventory.
• Co-develops the annual sales plan for the assigned customer base.
• Works within the budget set by the Sales Manager or Director.
• Participates in planning for policies, procedures, systems, and performance monitoring.
• Coordinates departments to resolve customer complaints and demands.
• Oversees training and daily activities of the Sales Engineer and Application Support Engineer.
• Recommends priority items to build/hold in production when needed.
• Performs other duties related to the responsibilities listed.
