Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a Leasing Manager for its Kuala Lumpur retail hub. You will conduct market research to identify demand, source tenants, and manage lease negotiations with a focus on strategic tenant mix.

This role requires building strong relationships with tenants, partners, and industry contacts to drive successful leases and co-marketing opportunities. You will ensure all activities comply with policies and regulations, support daily operations, and prepare performance reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Diploma in Business, Real Estate, Marketing or related field.
• 3–5 years in leasing, marketing, events, hospitality or retail business development.
• Strong drive and business acumen.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Passionate about retail and events with proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop a leasing plan for the retail space based on market research.
• Source tenants aligned with the mall’s strategic tenant mix.
• Build rapport with tenants, stakeholders and industry contacts.
• Lead negotiations and execution of lease agreements per legal standards.
• Handle enquiries and serve as liaison between tenants and internal teams.
• Collaborate on co-marketing programs and promotions with tenants.
• Ensure operations and promotions comply with policies and regulations.
• Support daily operations and upkeep of the retail space.
• Manage external service providers and monitor SLAs.
• Prepare reports on performance, leasing status and market trends.
• Assist budgeting, revenue forecasting and expense control.
