Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or construction.
• Experience in building, façade, construction, or related projects is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and QS software tools.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Good analytical, numerical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates, and tender documents.
• Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents to determine quantities and costs.
• Prepare and evaluate tenders, quotations, and subcontractor packages.
• Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and expenditure throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare progress claims, interim valuations, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Evaluate and verify subcontractor and supplier claims.
• Assist with contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Identify and assess variation works, additional costs, and potential cost impacts.
• Conduct regular cost reports and provide updates to management/project teams.
