Job summary

Frencken Group in Selangor, Malaysia is seeking a Buyer to manage purchasing activities and ensure timely material availability for production. You will work with suppliers, planning, quality, and engineering to secure quality parts at the best cost and delivery terms.

Requirements include a diploma/degree in purchasing or SCM with 2–3 years’ experience; fresh graduates may apply for junior roles. Attractive benefits and a 5-day week are offered.

Qualifications

• Education in purchasing, SCM, logistics, or related field.
• 2–3 years of purchasing/procurement experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may be considered for junior roles.

Responsibilities

• Execute purchasing based on requisitions and schedules.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers for price, quality and terms.
• Issue and manage Purchase Orders and monitor deliveries.
• Track supplier performance and address issues with Q.A. and engineering.
• Maintain supplier data and ERP records; support cost-reduction initiatives.
• Prepare reports and participate in supplier qualification and negotiations.
