Job summary

Premier Farnell in Malaysia is seeking an experienced procurement and logistics professional to manage purchasing, order fulfillment and supplier performance to support profitability and inventory turns.

You will coordinate with warehouse, logistics carriers and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery, negotiate pricing, handle non-conforming inventory, and drive process improvements while maintaining clear communication with planners, sales and customer operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically 3+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.
• Knowledge of procurement and logistics processes.

Responsibilities

• Procure goods and manage orders to improve inventory turns.
• Ensure accurate order status and on-time deliveries.
• Develop supplier relationships and negotiate pricing.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics to meet schedules.
• Manage non-conforming inventory and disposition.
• Communicate order issues to planners and sales.
• Support inventory aging and fill rate goals.
• Participate in supplier management initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
